A little about me, what I do, and why I do it…
I’m a photographer, located in the Newcastle-upon-Tyne, UK and primarily work as one of the region’s leading event photographers.
I have an enthusiasm for creativity; pushing boundaries and trying new things. Over the past 5 years I’ve been developing my own style to bring about some unique work to stand out from the crowd and deliver a product I can be proud of.
My speciality is in events. Specifically, at the moment, dance music events where capturing key moments in the production that can last a fraction of a second. I aim to grasp the atmosphere, the feelings of the crowd at the time that can take someone back to that moment at the click of a button.
I began in nightclubs. Capturing the energy of a single moment is a skill that I’ve been lucky enough to practice for nearly a decade. The vibrancy and energy of the people out there is what makes it so enjoyable to work in, not to mention being alongside some of the most talented people in their domain. After a few years I branched out to larger events – outdoor festivals and big-room arenas. I’ve been lucky enough to enjoy working with people who are the fore-front of the dance music industry, helping to grow their brand, image and therefore audience by giving everyone a window into their world.
Enough of the mission-statement and sales pitch – if you’ve read this far, you might be interested in seeing some of my work. Take a look at my portfolio, follow my social media accounts and/or contact me for any more questions you might have.
